Cindi Rourk, Board Member

Cindi Rourk joined the CLIMB Fund in 2008 and is charged with leading the CDFI as its Chief Executive Officer. As CEO her main goal is to lead the community-driven nonprofit and ensure its dedication to growing the local economy by providing flexible, affordable, and customizable loans to small businesses and affordable housing concerns. Cindi began her career at LDC as a loan officer, eventually growing to the Director of Lending and Business Development position and ultimately CEO where she is today.

Cindi serves on several boards, including the Community First Land Trust, SC Community Capital Alliance, and the Charleston’s Women’s Business Center, and is an active presenter on access to small business capital for SCORE, the Small Business Development Centers, economic development authorities, and other small business supporters. 

Cindi has been part of the Charleston community since pre-Hugo days, and in the banking community for over 20 years.  A graduate of Appalachian State University, Leadership Charleston, and SC Bankers’ School, Cindi is originally from Dallas, North Carolina.
